Uttu

Uttu is a clothing line out of Istanbul, Turkey named after the Sumerian goddess of weaving and finding inspiration years ago when the designer, as a child first made clothes for her dolls. With scalloped collars, delicate backs, and contrasting buttons you can almost see sweet doll inspiration today as well. The lookbook is as aspirational as the clothes; an Uttu girl is captured on film in her favorite haunts of ferry rides and library book stacks...I couldn't resist ordering one of the dreamy concotions for myself--can't wait until it arrives.
