I love the up-and-coming presentations at Milk Studios; the collections are a little unexpected compared to what is showing at Lincoln Center and it's wonderful to discover new designers. This year I was pleasantly surprised by Misha Nonoo, a recent winner of the womenswear prize at the Fashion Group International's 15th Annual Rising Star Awards. I really loved her take on lounge wear and her quirky prints featuring both stars and flamingos, as well as the styling...I'm a sucker for milkmaid braids.
