I really like gingham dresses, but I suppose it's one of those fabrics or styles I tend to admire on other people without always adding to my own wardrobe, but this is the only gingham dress in my closet. It's by Shakuhachi and I've customized it a bit in the years that I've owned it. I think pieces should be customized whether vintage or designer if it means they'll be worn more, because the point of clothes is to be worn. A good dress should be retired when it doesn't fit anymore or is falling apart, no?
