Happy New Year

I hope everyone had a fun New Year's Eve--I couldn't help but to celebrate the occasion with a few fireworks themed photographs dressed in sequins. I've added a few sequin dresses to my closet, but even though this one is a couple of years old it is still my favorite. Anyway, 2012 was a good year and I'm optimistic 2013 will be rather nice too. Do you have fun New Year's traditions? My family likes to go bowling, which often means no heels or sequins for me. Personally, for the past couple of years I've taken to writing down my hopes for the coming year then burning them to ashes--hasn't really made anything come true but it's still rather fun to enumerate my goals and wishes; something about having them on paper and then sending them to the stars with a bit of fire and smoke is wonderfully liberating.
