One of the blogs I like to read has this phrase "resting on pretty." Which basically means the starlet in question looks nice, but she isn't really trying, she's resting on her natural beauty rather than pushing the envelope. None of my style crushes can be accused of resting on pretty; I admire women who clearly put thought, effort, and fun into their wardrobe. Taylor Tomasi Hill is one of my style crushes and while many of the looks she wears can only be pulled off by someone whip-thin and ten feet tall (as she is), she doesn't make model-like figure the focal point. Working in the fashion industry she has access to so many new and exciting brands and she takes full advantage playing with color, texture, and proportion. Her style is eclectic and her outfits will never be considered boring.
