Continuing my romantic theme this week I couldn't dream of a more perfect or dramatic dress than this one from Fame & Partners. It's still cold here so a coat is necessary, but I wanted to photograph this dress in it's simple, most spectacular state: a pair of dramatic earrings, a darker lip, and no other embellishment needed. It makes me feel much more chic and sophisticated than the playful tulle I wore yesterday, but that's one of the fantastic things about fashion--we can assume these characters briefly with the change of our clothes and our wardrobes are only as limited as our imagination. Gamine in stripes one day and silver screen siren in silk another is perfectly acceptable. A fact I need to remind myself of when shopping so I can transform with a dress instead of wearing an endless stream of the same thing in various colors and patterns!
