If the recent runways are any indication of how people will be dressing next seaosn (and they usually are) the 70s might just be the predominant trend to watch. It was all there from designer after designer: fringe, paisely print, peasant blouses, circle glasses. All re-imagined in that sometimes pretty, sometimes so-not-pretty, distinct 70s color palette. I feel like a lot of designers have been watching Mad Men and feeling groovy. My favorite version of the trend had to be preppy Burberry Prorsum's take on the look. Mixed prints and retro fabrics were all balance by Burberry's classic cut. I never thought I'd want to wear a 70s inspired look myself, but the romantic, flowing dresses are winning me over. via
