I was drawn to this clean, minimalist apartment for the almost unintentional modern art aspects. How fun do those lone bananas look hanging from the stick over the counter? The minimalism makes sense in a lot of ways since the residents are renters and there are obviously restrictions on how you can alter your space when you're only renting. Still, they've been creative and made it very personal and comfortable. I also love their vast collection of books although it took me a moment to realize so many of their book stacks are backwards! I suppose it works to make the space look cleaner and more organized, but I wonder how long it takes them to find the novel they want to read...More here.
