I once went to a church youth group costume party dressed as Red Riding Hood and everyone thought I was dressed as a devil...so I guess my admiration for the Red Riding Hood look wasn't shared with that group. But my love for the story and aesthetic hasn't changed much through the years; it's still a costume/style I love to channel when I get the chance. I'm clearly not quite alone in my admiration for the style because it's one fashion designers and magazine editors also return to again and again.
